Like the 45 Chair, the 45 Sofa represents uncompromising design, where Finn Juhl pushed the boundaries of what was physically possible with wood. By separating the carrying and carried elements, he introduced an entirely new approach to furniture construction and created the illusion of a seat and backrest floating freely in the air.
