Julien Quiesse studied Applied Arts at Oliver de Serres in Paris, graduating in 1996. Soon after he moved to Normandy, opening his own workshop and studio. He collaborated on custom projects for the Museum of Asian Arts in Nice, Yves Saint Laurent stores as well as the studio of Xavier Dohr. In 2002 he began his own collection of furniture and lighting. He produced a special edition of consoles and stools with Triode in 2007 using polished steel and varnish.
